One of my all time favorite tools is the Porter Cable variable speed DA sander. I n the past 20 years I have had 2 of these and have sanded the crap out of a lot of boats and parts. The beauty of this tool is the variable speed and the fact that it uses a random orbit. This is easly the best sander I have ever owned and I have owned a lot. I like the 5 inch pad rather than the 6" although the 5" discs can be harder to find in the rolls.
